AGM Report – Elenmore Court
September 2023
The Elenmore Court Visitors continue to visit regularly Monday to Friday to check on the wellbeing of tenants and report any matters arising to the Services Team.
We gave a survey to all the tenants and their families. They all said that they were happy living here and would not like to be anywhere else as they look out for and help one another. They are content with where they are. They have a sense of community and look out for the wellbeing of one another.
There was an issue with the drainage in two of the flats and the Services Team did a wonderful job at resolving it as quickly as possible.
Cedarmore Housing Association has employed a new gardener and the tenants are very happy with him. They sang his praises during the tenants meeting we had on the fourth of this month. We would like to thank the previous gardener too for all he did in keeping the up keep of the garden.
A new tenant has joined Elenmore Court and seems to be settling in well.
The tenants Support Plans, yearly flat hazard checks, Check List for Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessment, and PEEPs are up to date, and the monthly internal and external hazard checks are ongoing
The Elenmore Court Visitors seem to enjoy the visits they have with the tenants and the tenants that have opted in to have these visits are appreciative of them. Those that have opted out of visits/calls do not mind having a chat with the Elenmore Court Visitor when they meet in the corridors or outside in the car park or garden.
In conclusion, Elenmore Court is a happy and safe place to be, and we thank and praise God for all He has done and is doing and will do. We also extend our gratitude to the services Team for all their hard work and assistance, and to the Elenmore Court Visitors, to the management and the administrative and finance teams, the previous gardener and the new gardener, and to the families of the tenants that provide them with the assistance that they need, and to those in the community that help to make Elenmore Court a safe place to live.
Thank you all.
